Facilitation US$350 Book time

Facilitation in Business is a process where an individual, normally outside the ‘group’ who is acceptable to all of a group’s members intervenes to assist that group in solving problems and making decisions to improve productivity and efficiency but who has no authority to make decisions.

We work to understand the group’s issues or problems and focus on the ‘blocks’ that prevent decisions being made. We create a situation where everyone involved has an opportunity to have an input in a climate of ‘collective responsibility’ so that those responsible for making decisions can move forward, take decisions in the knowledge that the whole group has been involved and participated in the process.

Coach Supervision US$300 Book time

Coaching has come of ‘age’ as a profession. As such coaches are required to carry out meaningful ‘Continuous Professional Development’ every year and participate in a minimum number of sessions with a trained ‘Supervisor’ dependent upon the amount of coaching they are undertaking per annum.

The ‘Coach Supervisor’ has three main functions: to provide qualitative enquiry of the relationship between the coach and their clients, developmental intervention and resourcing support for the coach.

Executive/Leadership Coaching US$300 Book time

To succeed and achieve competitive advantage, leaders and decision makers need to be more agile and evolutionary in their thinking, have a clear understanding of emotional as well as intellectual intelligence and value their most important ‘raw material’ – their people.

An independent coach provides a ‘safe place’, unfettered by ‘company politics’ for business leaders to tackle the interference that reduces performance; an opportunity to change behaviours and attitudes that make their unique blend of skills and knowledge even more effective.

At the start of any coaching programme, 4sight’s coaches will learn about the business so that the developmental work to be done dove-tails in with both individual(s) and the business values and objectives.

A three-way meeting with a senior member (often HR or CEO), coachee and coach sets the programme off with everyone understanding what is to be achieved.

A series of Psychometric tools are available to 4sight Coaches to assist with clarifying “where you are now” so that the road map can commence from a recognised and agreed start point.

Thereafter the coaching programme is designed to support the client and ‘coachee’ creating a development path; aligning the individual’s career aspirations and personal characteristics with the culture and objectives of the organisation.

Life/Personal Coaching US$260 Book time

Life is not a rehearsal ! Few prepare for it and although most strive for fulfilment, many fall short of realising their full potential. Most do not know what motivates them, what their core values are or how to discharge them. Few have clear goals, which helps to give their work and life a real purpose; some might say that the pressure placed on individuals and relationships today has never been greater.

A relationship with a qualified and experienced coach can facilitate a ‘safe environment’ and for you to be able to stand ‘outside’ yourself in order to generate a different perspective and challenge unfounded assumptions. They will be able to help ‘ground’ you and unearth your core values which will allow you to look to the future with more confidence and positive energy.

4sight Communications was established by David Bredin in 2001 as a business consultancy specialising in the provision of personnel management advice and training.  Based near Cambridge it operated through the Institute for Independent Business International (IIB), but quickly became involved in 'business coaching' owners of SMEs.  4sight now specialises exclusively in coaching, coach supervision, and facilitation. David works with a 'Coaching Partner' helping senior executives and potential business leaders, as well as private individuals overcome the challenges of leadership in both their corporate and private lives.

David served for 20 years in the Armed Forces with both British and Gurkha troops operating in many countries across the world including Central America, the Far East, Northern Ireland and the Falkland Islands as well as part of the Rhine Army in Europe (BAOR).  He left the services to head up a public relations campaign for a national organisation based in London appearing regularly on TV and radio as well as in the print media.  Calling on his considerable experience of leading people he returned to the world of leadership and personal development setting up '4sight' to fulfil an ambition to help people maximise their potential.

David became a Justice of the Peace in 2005 and 'sits' as a 'Court Chairman' in both Cambridge and Huntingdon Magistrates Courts.  He is an 'appraiser' of other Magistrates and involved in projects to raise awareness of the Justice system to young people.   He is also very involved in the Gurkha Welfare Trust and in many local activities.
