Dan Roberts, the Wellbeing Coach, is a trained counsellor, personal coach and respected health writer. He helps clients with a wide range of issues, but specialises in stress-management, because so many of his clients are now suffering from stress or stress-related illness. Dan also helps people with anxiety, depression and all-round physical and mental wellbeing.

His style of coaching – cognitive-behavioural coaching – is based on cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT). He uses cognitive therapy techniques to help his clients modify unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, replacing them with more positive, realistic ones. Dan also designs tailored lifestyle programmes for all his clients, focusing on sleep, diet, work/life balance and both cardiovascular exercise – which is proven to help with all aspects of stress – and calming exercise like yoga, tai chi, swimming and walking, which helps people feel more relaxed and acts as an antidote to the hectic, fast-paced lives many of us now lead.

Dan sees clients in East Finchley and the City – or the wonders of Skype allow him to coach clients throughout the UK, Europe and the world. He also runs stress-management workshops and is often quoted in the media on stress and his other specialist subjects. Dan is a member of the Stress Management Society and Association for Coaching.
