Description

I qualified from the Guild of Psychotherapists (London) in 2007. I had previously qualified as a psychodynamic counsellor in 1998. In 2003, I hold a Post Graduate Diploma as a Specialist Addictions Therapist from University Hospital, London. I am registered BAPPS Psychoanalytic Supervisor.
I have a long held interest in black social policy and culture and in 1993, I founded an innovative service for drug users in Nottingham, UK, which was successful. In 1999, I was a founder member of ‘Talkshop’ a generic counselling service for teenagers in East London.
I am a co – founder of 4121.org.uk, a counselling and psychotherapy service for people living in south London.
In the past, I have worked in the NHS on a psychological outpatient’s service and with patients under section at the Maudsley Hospital. I currently run a private practice from offices in central and south London.
