Description

As a counsellor I work with adults, young people and children. I hold a firm belief that every person is individual, and has the potential to fully realise their unique qualities. My intention is to provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for us to explore the issues affecting you. I aim to support you in discovering your inner resources and the best way forward for you by offering you opportunities for growth, healing and change.

I describe myself as a therapist and art counsellor, and I can work in a variety of ways, for example with art , or guided visualisations and am happy to explain or explore with you if you would like to use non-verbal ways of working.

I work in a professional, friendly environment, offering both long and short term counselling. I have experience of working with people from all walks of life. I have experience with many issues including addiction, depression, relationship difficulties and stress.

I also work with people who wish to explore issues such as their life direction, self esteem, confidence, or for personal development. I offer reduced rates for counselling students. I can also offer telephone counselling.

As a member of BACP I abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy which can be found at www.bacp.co.uk/ethical_framework.

I am happy to have a chat on the phone if you have any questions.
I cannot always answer my phone, but please do leave a message and a number that I can reach you on and I will return your call as soon as I can. Alternatively you can email me and I will contact you as soon as I can, usually within 24 hours.
