The Basics of Masterclasses
Masterclasses are one of GoMentor's two core products. Basically it's a class or lecture where a coach or therapist gives you and other participants a lecture on a specific topic.
As Masterclasses are completely anonymous with only one-way communication, this is the perfect start for people that are not comfortable with having an actual One2One Session. Masterclasses are just like lectures or classes in the real world - it's just done online in the comfort of your own home.
On GoMentor.com you can view, select and book a "seat" in one of our many online Masterclasses. You will be aboe to find anything from motivational pep-talks and business lectures to classes on parenting and relationship issues.
All Masterclasses are run through our revolutionary technology with high quality audio and video to create a real-life lecture experience.
What to do when you have booked a Masterclass Seat
When you have booked a seat for a Masterclass, we will remind you by e-mail 1 day before as well as 1 hour before the Masterclass starts.
Please make sure to be at a computer with internet access and loud speakers / headset - and to log into your account on GoMentor.com - at least 10 minutes before the Masterclass starts.
24 hours before the Masterclass takes place, you will be able to see a countdown to it, in the top navigation bar when you are logged in. 5 minutes prior to the start, you will automatically be taken to the Masterclass Session page, if you are logged in. Alternatively, you can press the countdown to get to that page.
During the 5 minutes while you are waiting for the Masterclass to start and throughout the session it-self, you can communicate in the chat window, directly to the professional speaker. Please note the speaker cannot hear or see you.
As soon as the professional is ready, the Masterclass video and sound starts.
