When you sign up for GoMentor 24/7 you tell us a little about yourself and your situation. This will help GoMentor Support to find a match with a mentor who is suitable for you and what you need help with. We strive to match you up with the right psychologist, therapist or coach within 24 hours on weekdays. Your free trial period will start only after you are assigned a mentor.
It is your choice whether you want to be anonymous or not. You choose your username and is not committed to inform about your age or other personal informations to your mentor. Your provided email address will not be visible to your mentor either. It will only be used by our system to send you notifications when your mentor has replied and to send you a link to your invoice (monthly statement) with an overview of your payments.
Basically, you can write as much as you want to. Do you want to receive answers from your mentor quickly, you must be aware that it can take longer time for him or her to answer if your messages are very long.
Your mentor is obligated to answer you within 24 hours all weekdays - in other words, GoMentor 24/7 is not a live chat. The mentor spends time and thoroughness to give you good and judicious replies. Although it may take hours between the messages, our mentors strive to reply as soon as they can.
When you use GoMentor 24/7 you have the opportunity to complement your subscription with online video sessions against additional payment. It is not possible to get your money refunded from your prepaid subscription. You can book an online video session in the GoMentor chat room. Please note, that the prices vary depending on the individual mentor.
A GoMentor 24/7 subscription is an ongoing subscription that will be renewed automatically when it expires. Did you have a great experience using GoMentor 24/7 and wants to continue the subscription, you must not do anything.
Do you want to pause or stop the subscription, you must do this before its expiration date. You do this if you log into the GoMentor 24/7 chat room and click at “Change subscription”. By pausing the subscription, it means that you can always reactivate it if you want to.
Do you find out that there is no chemistry between you and your mentor or that the mentor can’t help you with what you need, you are more than welcome to find another. You can do this by one of the following options:
Please note, that the free trial period only counts one time per person. Therefore, you cannot use your trial period two times or more with different mentors.
Does the mentor not answer within 24 hours after receiving a message from you, it is not possible to get compensation. Although it is possible for you to request a new mentor before the subscription is renewed.
Yes, it is possible for you to unsubscribe from your weekly or monthly subscription even though it is now finished. However, you commit to the subscription payment as soon as the 3 days free trial period has expired. Therefore, you must be aware of that you still will pay for the whole subscription period even though you want to stop it before its expiration. You can unsubscribe if you log into the GoMentor 24/7 chat room and click at “Change subscription”.
Your mentor is committed to inform about vacation plans or sickness if it has any importance on however he or she won’t be available. In such cases the period will be deducted from your next payment so you don’t have to pay for them. If the Mentor is sick more than 3 days, you will be able to request a new mentor with one day’s notice.
Customer care is extremely important to GoMentor and therefore, in a case where users are dissatisfied with a mentor, you may lodge a formal complaint.
Please note that any complaints must be in writing by using the “Contact” page on our website, giving full details required by GoMentor to substantiate your claims regarding the session, including the date, payment method and mentor information. You should also provide your preferred means of communication (telephone or mail) in order for GoMentor to respond to your complaint.

All of your personal data are stored in a secure server where all data exchange (your login and send/received messages) is encrypted. Therefore, you can feel completely safe using GoMentor 24/7. Your informations won’t be shared with a third part. Your mentor will only be able to see your username, the messages you send and your profile picture (optional).
